Square One
Ellie took Square One Services to a new level with this logo and business card look. Owner Doug Dahlke got focus, clarity and a memorable tagline: Start at SquareOne for Professional Power Washing and Painting.
Southern IT
Southern IT targets dental offices, so we came up with a techie look and a tagline that communicates their piece of the dental puzzle, A Better Byte.
aim me: Name, Design and Printing
Ellie re-branded Your True You as aim me. Future Mapping suited Amy Anderson's service to her customer and provided her with a great title, Chief Future Mapper. The style invokes a treasure map, in colors and look that appeal both to Amy's youth demographic and their parents. Amy chose rounded corners and a matte finish.
Victorian, Art Nouveau Logo
Ellie worked with owner and pastry chef Linda Rivers to come up with an ideal tagline for Holly Cottage Tearoom in Newnan. She then approached graphic designer Christine Holzman with the challenge: can you make a logo in this color scheme, that is Victorian, but looks a bit Art Nouveau? This original artwork left eloquent Englishwoman Linda gushing. It was handrendered as a sign outside the tearoom, and fills the back of Linda's business card.
Giving Back
Sarah runs the Burbank Certified Farmer's Market, which supports small, local, organic farmers, gives inner city residents access to the freshest produce AND provides healthcare scholarships at a local hospital for the poor in that neighborhood. As part of Ellie's team's commitment to giving back, this project, including the printing, was done at no charge. One out of every ten projects is for a nonprofit with specified financial and marketing needs.
A Smartt Look
Rachel Smartt, N.D., needed to create a strong Visual Reputation to show her strong background, and ability to enact personal change for others. We chose the apple to remind people about the good of "an apple a day," the ideal of nutritional support for health--and because it worked so well with Rachel's name, as an icon of learning. Ellie gave Rachel several tagline choices. The winner was and Health Starts with Smartt Nutrition.
Smartt Opportunity
This rewritable pdf flyer was created so that Rachel Smartt could use it to promote her business opportunity seminars for her Juice Plus+. We also created a version for the many people on her team to use to build there own. All text is in fields that can be edited for content.
Smartt Newsletter
This four-page tab was created, edited and printed by Ellie's team. High quality stock art was used for much of the imagery. Rachel Smartt uses this to target a higher end client for her business, Smartt Nutrition. Savvy consumers don't settle for badly produced product. Smartt Nutrition now looks as smart as her name.
Smartt Promo
Rachel Smartt planned a series of phone conferences on health topics. To promote them, we built this pdf for her to email. It fits her look and corporate identity, reinforcing her Visual Reputation.
Eric Hinkle CPA
Eric Hinkle works as a CFO for Hire with larger firms and needs to have a Visual Reputation. There's nothing more American than taxes, so the eagle was a good choice, as a piece of iconic americana. It also communicated the kind of strength and vision Eric needed. As an Auburn grad, the colors and logo work.
Bite Sized Testimonial
This variation of Dr. Thomas' card accompanied homemade granola bars to physicians' offices. By telling a patient success story in one bite-sized piece, Dr. Thomas has a chance to connect through a compelling story. That increases his memorability and credibility. Ellie interviewed Dennis Guice and wrote a full feature story published online and in the newspaper.
The Running Doctor is In
This oversized poster was created to attract athletes for before and after massages at running events. We printed three of these on vinyl and adhered to dibond, which is both light and recyclable, if the imagery changes in the future. For Dr. Thomas at Allied Healthcare, the athlete market is attracted through The Running Doctor brand. This target market is challenged with a phrase Ellie wrote: Get back in the game.
Citadel Self Storage
Citadel Self Storage has a great marketing director, Helen Rickman. They had a logo, but it was not standardized across all of their publications and signage. Ellie's team researched fonts found on the street sign, and based the standard on that. Murphy the Dog stars in commercials, so he stars on the card, too. Ellie helped Helen and her staff create their own letterhead. With a business expo looming, Ellie's team rushed, avoided rush shipping and made deadline.
Kay McInroe Visual Reputation
When Ellie met Kay her business card had so much copy on the front her name wasn't legible from a distance. Ellie's team created a film noir, 1940s look for her logo and card. Because Kay helps her clients adjust in the community, long after the real estate transaction is finished, we created With You 'Til You Feel at Home as her tagline.
Rewritable Flyer for Element Funding
Keeping a consistent professional look and still getting work done can be a problem for midsized business. Karen Bennett at Element Funding called Ellie, so she could get a reusable, rewritable flyer. Ellie's team created this flyer with fields for all the copy. We use standard fonts that just about any computer would have, so that font substitutions don't become a problem.
Element Christmas Flyer
"Home for the Holidays and Beyond. Visit us at our new restored c. 1890 home, The Busey House in downtown Fayetteville, Georgia. Margaret Mitchell once stopped by for tea. Maybe you should stop by, too. Wishing you peace, joy and the comfort of home this Christmas!" Ellie wrote the copy and had this flyer designed to coincide with a new office move for Frank and Karen Bennett, mortgage professionals with Element Funding.
The World on a String
We built this textured look for my favorite husband and professional guitarist Matt White. The concept was his. He started with something like, "Lovers love. Drinkers drink." We classed it up a bit, and added a shot from my professional photographers, Lindsi and Hether Gillean.
Takes the Cake
Appealing to a target market can be as simple as a choice of color or font. 99% of at-home professional Nicole Goulding's clients are women. Ellie worked with her on a name, tagline, selling points for the back of the card and this corporate identity. We printed these affordably on gloss. This gives her credibility and shows her whimsical style of cake design.
Oak Hill Dentistry
Moving to a new location offered the perfect opportunity for Oak Hill Dentistry to improve their Visual Reputation. Hands-on dentist Dr. Kelley Brummett drew the logo tree, but the only version she had was low resolution and hazy. Ellie's team cleaned it up and created two standard versions that could be used for signage, business cards and a mural that Dr. Kelley handpainted on the wall of her new office.
Welcome House Postcard
Community Welcome House is one of Ellie's charitable partners. Besides the annual Oh Christmas Tea, we also created a new logo and this promotional piece. Executive Director, Linda Kirkpatrick needed to concisely communicate the need for help. This piece does that visually and with a compelling message.
Vote Rose
Rose Carroll needed assistance in clarifying her message and creating a memorable campaign logo. We used iconic imagery and a flag motif to render her look.
Future Staff
With two offices, two different names, both needing a professional cohesive look, we went to a retro look for FutureStaff. This logo has a Star Trek feel, and fits the tag, Work Strong and Prosper. For outside sales staff, cards were printed with silver for added flash. Two backs were made, so that the sales message would work for the audiences targeted.
Marketing to Women
Diane Holt has several successful businesses, but had never developed materials for this one. The antique photo is of Diane's mother and grandmother. Sentimental Pictures is able to process photos and create usable, beautiful published memory books. Ellie created the tagline and selling points for the back of the card. Make Memories, We'll Save Them for You. All verbiage, font choice, color and design is targeted toward women, 100% of Diane's Sentimental Pictures customer base.
Heartez
Starting a new business and needing materials immediately, put a lot of urgency in this project. When Ellie sat down with Jose, the name of the business was not yet solidified. Ellie helped with a short list of names, envisioned a logo, and wrote the tagline, Keep the Beat for this CPR training business. To add weight and import to his corporate identity, Ellie printed the Heartez cards on 16 pt. cardstock with spot gloss.
Veronica Bangsboll
Veronica Bangsboll saw the direction she wanted to go in for her real estate business. A military wife, native of Canada and fluent in Hungarian, Veronica wanted to push the international experience and connectivity. Open the Door of Your World is the tagline Ellie wrote for her. Ellie also sketched the logo and had it rendered by graphic artist Melodie Hayes. The selling points played off Veronica's strengths as a realtor.
Iconic Ad Design
It's handchurned ice cream in a Georgia July, your grandma's front porch swing, Sunday dinners and your baby's giggle. Your memories are precious. If you have a box of photos, stored but unavailable memories, or if you have a crumbling family album, Sentimental Pictures can preserve your photos on disc. Then your photos will be available for online scrapbooking at mysentimentalstories.com. Make Memories, We'll Save Them for You.
Ellie writes to create memorable connections. This ad was built for Perspectives, a local history book.
